# GetTikVideo

> GetTikVideo (gettikvideo.com) is a free web tool for saving public TikTok content: videos as MP4 without the watermark when TikTok provides a clean file, audio as MP3, photo posts and slideshows, stories, clips from Highlights, and full-size profile pictures. No login and no app: it works in any browser on iPhone, Android, PC and Mac. It is an independent tool, not affiliated with TikTok.

How it works: copy a TikTok link (Share, then Copy link), paste it into the box on any GetTikVideo page, and pick one of the formats listed for that post.

- Accepted links: `tiktok.com/@user/video/…`, `tiktok.com/@user/photo/…`, `tiktok.com/@user/story/…`, short share links (`vm.tiktok.com/…`, `vt.tiktok.com/…`, `tiktok.com/t/…`), `m.tiktok.com/v/…`, and profile links (`tiktok.com/@user`).
- Video: MP4 in the best quality TikTok serves (up to 1080p), without the watermark when a clean source exists, plus a smaller file when one is available. File sizes are shown before you download.
- Audio: MP3 of a video's soundtrack, including sounds, music and voiceovers.
- Photo posts and slideshows: every image as a JPG in original quality, the soundtrack as MP3, or the whole slideshow as an MP4.
- Profiles: a profile link returns the full-resolution profile picture and a grid of the account's recent public videos, each downloadable. TikTok exposes only the latest few videos this way, not an account's full history.
- Limits: private, deleted and region-restricted videos can't be downloaded, and neither can accounts TikTok hides from logged-out visitors. A Highlight has no single link for the whole set, so its clips are saved one at a time.
- Free, with no account. Downloaded files are not stored.
- On a computer, the free GetSocialVideo extension for Chrome and Edge skips the copying: click its icon on a TikTok page, pick the post, and it opens on GetTikVideo ready to download.
